GEM is launching GEM Solar Development, LLC to promote Salinity Gradient Solar Pond (SGSP) technology in key regions to utilize waste salts in constructing SGSP renewable energy systems:

• Texas: salt contamination remediation
• Arizona: synergy with waste water disposal
• Utah: integration with salt works, gas storage
• Nevada: synergy with desalination disposal
